Our logo story
One object. Three shadows. Fifty-seven drafts.
What the OXXYZ Technologies logo means, how it was made, and why it took fifty-seven versions to find.
OXXYZ, said AWK-seez.
Five letters, read in three parts.
- O · the origin
- In space, the origin is where the three axes meet: zero, zero, zero. Everything is measured from it, and every project with us starts there: with your business, as it is today.
- X · the X-factor
- In maths, x is the unknown you solve for. For us, it is also the X-factor: what we bring to the problem. In the logo, it is the object itself, alive in the name.
- XYZ · every dimension
- The world has three dimensions, and so does every business: your customers, your team and you. We work in all of them, and in every technical one: websites, apps, software, AI and 3D.
And because the origin is a zero, the name is also code. In programming, 0x begins every hexadecimal number: our blueis #245BB2 to a designer and 0x245BB2 to a program. The logo’s opening types 0x XYZ for a moment, then turns it into the name.
From the origin, the X-factor, in every dimension.
Seen from three sides, it’s three letters.
The X in the name is a real solid: 111 cubes, kept only where three letters cross. Look along one axis and its outline is an X; from above, a Y; from the front, a Z. Light it from three sides in the corner of a room and it casts all three. You could hold it in your hand, or print it in 3D.
One business, seen from three sides, each seeing its own view of the same thing. That is the company, in one object.
The letter-shadow puzzle is an old and beautiful one; Gödel, Escher, Bach made it famous. Ours casts the three axes of the world we build in. Carve your own three letters →

Stand in a corner. You’re inside the logo.
Where two walls meet the floor, three planes share a single point. A mathematician would call it the origin. Their edges draw a hexagon, and that hexagon is our symbol, and the O of our name.
So the logo isn’t a picture of a cube. It’s the inside of a room, with each perspective on its own wall: X on the left, Y on the floor, Z on the right.
The object lives in the name, as its X.
At rest the logo is calm. But the X beside the O is the object itself, and it moves: tap a letter, or drag the X. It hops from X to X, to Y, to Z, and the letter it leaves rebuilds itself, block by block.
It can do that honestly, because X, Y and Z really are its three shadows.

Five letters, one chord.
Each letter is a note on a tuned bar, struck in the material of the blocks. O, X, X, Y, Z climb a D major chord: D, the D above it twice, then F♯ and A. The logo’s three axes are the chord’s three notes.
Fifty-seven logos to find one.
Every version is still here, drawn by its own code. Each round kept what was true, let go of what wasn’t, and went further. Open any of them to watch it.
★ Turning points: where the logo changed course.
Written the way code writes them.
Five colours and nothing else: night blues for the technology, paper for the people who use it.
How we work
Many ideas, made real, narrowed with you, until the one that’s true.
Our logo took fifty-seven versions because each one taught us something. Your project gets the same care.
